Galmont Consulting’s President and Founder, Jeri Smith to present at the i.c. stars’ 4th Annual iOpener Conference – Impact the Future
Chicago, IL (August 24, 2010) —On August 27th, i.c.stars is holding its fourth annual iOpener event, where attendees will participate in a brainstorming session around what it means to be an organization with “innovative DNA” to attract and retain employees for the future workforce. Attendees will learn what a wide range of companies are doing that is innovative, share what jobs are being created – jobs that didn’t exist 3 years ago - and how other companies of all sizes are recruiting staff with innovative DNA. Topics will include how the workforce is evolving and how companies are training and in some cases, re-training their employees to stay on the leading edge of their industries.
Galmont Consulting’s President and Founder, Jeri Smith will share the new and innovative practices she is developing at her firm. Specifically, building a software testing and quality assurance facility onshore to bring jobs from overseas back to U.S. soil. Galmont expects to hire 90 people within five years to test and deliver software for its global clientele, which include companies such as Blue Cross Blue Shield, CNA, CVS Caremark, US Cellular, and NYSE Euronext.
